Speeding, moving violations, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI), hit and run, vehicular manslaughter and driving without a license are just a few examples of criminal law violations.
One of the most common motor vehicle offenses is DUI. It is serious! You can go to jail! You can lose your job! You can lose your license! Your finances can be ruined!
In Georgia a DUI consists of two different legal matters: license suspension and the DUI case itself. Following your arrest, you only have 10 days to file an appeal or you will LOSE YOUR LICENSE FOR 1 YEAR!
Call Kendrick & Mahan, Attorneys at Law IMMEDIATELY so we can file your appeal on time!
The loss of your driver’s license should not be your only concern if you are being charged with DUI. Penalties such as prison time, heavy fees and other severe consequences will follow a DUI conviction. This requires expert legal representation! At Kendrick & Mahan, Attorneys at Law, our lawyers are readily available to discuss your options.
DUI cases are highly technical and require an intricate knowledge of DUI law and attention to detail. There are parts of the law that prosecutors and police officers prefer you not know. At Kendrick & Mahan, Attorneys at Law, every year our attorneys attend the same training classes that law enforcement officers are required to take. Our Attorneys have received training in both the proper administration of field sobriety tests and the common mistakes officers make when completing DUI investigations. Our firm has successfully defended DUI clients in Superior, Probate, State and Municipal Courts in Georgia.
